In the Spring of 2008, Alpha Delta Chi was just as blessed by the Epsilon class as the Epsilon class was by ADX. As the semester began, 14 strangers (well, at least most of us were strangers) embarked on an amazing journey that took us near and far (near geographically, far spiritually). We travelled with our vivacious Pledge Mom down the morning streets of Baltimore, invited others to join us down the Yellow Brick Road, and raised the roof by stomping the yard.
The pledgeship was educational as well; we all mastered the fine art of kazooing and learned how to be super-silent porch decorators. Though we had many more crazy adventures to put on our ADX resume, the most amazing product of our time together as pledges was the growth that we experienced with each other and in each of our individual relationships with God. It truly was and continues to be a sisterhood centered around prayer, love, and encouragement. Even though our lovely Epsilons Katie "fine stylings" and Christine "chewy" are no longer our sisters in ADX, the bonds that we formed are so strong and they remain our sisters in Christ and will forever be Epsilons. Our Epsilon pledge class joined us in Spring 2008.
Though our girls come from a wide variety of geographical, spiritual, social, and academic backgrounds, we do have one thing in common: we all grew up in the '90s! Hey, Eps, what is your favorite '90s pop song?
