excalibur
Excalibur is an annual charity beach volleyball tournament hosted by Epsilon ADX in honor of one of our dear alumnae, Jennie 'excalibur' Yang. Jennie, a high-school volleyball player and graduate of USC, who passed away in October 2013 after an extensive battle with multiple forms of cancer. She had a rare disorder called Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, which is caused by a gene mutation and results in exceptionally high risk of cancer. To commemorate the impact she has had on the lives of those who knew her story, we are hosting Excalibur to bring together brothers and sisters to play in her honor, as well as to raise funds towards medical research for the Li-Fraumeni Syndrome Association (LFSA).
