meet the kappas
Man, those Kappas are just so KLASSY! From the start, ADX knew this pledge class was special - stealthy ice cream runs and Taylor Swift dance breaks were just a couple of adventures these spunky laides embarked on. Diverse in every way, from age to ethnicity to testimony, the Kappa Klassies bonded as pledge sisters, and more importantly, sisters in Christ as they traveled their pledgeship journey together. With the guidance and help of their awesome Pledge Mama, Mamoo, they learned so much about what it means to be a daughter of God and an ADX sister. The struggles, laughter, and joy along the way made every moment worth it, and as they were challenged, stretched, and encouraged, they grew to love Jesus even more. Our Kappa pledge class joined us in Fall 2010. So Kappas, if you could be any type of office supply what would it be and why? Abim "one love in venice": Tape white out because you never know when you need a second chance : ) Chante "bippity boppity boo": I would be a highlighter so I could light up the world! Jessica "fighting the good fight" will like to be a picture frame to constantly remind my sisters and loved ones that I love them and I will always be there for them regardless of the distance, the way that God reminds me every night and every morning. :) Kara "not now arctic puffin": I'd be a stapler so that i could hold it together instead of bursting out laughing at inappropriate times... Leslie "the kiwi seeker": I would be a post-it note so I could hold messages and inspirational thoughts. |
