meet the omicrons
Small in size but mighty with God’s strength, we Omicrons embrace the label, “the weirdest pledge class.” Maybe what made us the Oddicrons was how varying we are from age to personality. We always say that since we are so diverse, we normally would never have crossed paths at USC. Only God could have brought us together in Spring 2013, so we give Him all the glory for shaping and perfecting our little pledge class. It’s funny to look back at the first day we all met each other and remember how awkward it was. However, that didn’t last long! From our arts and crafts sessions, late-night Thai food, Batman voices, dog taxidermy fetish, and rendition of Taylor Swift: Goat Version, our love and memories with each other have grown exponentially. The Omicrons are thrilled and blessed to bring our individual quirky senses of humor to the ADX Epsilon Chapter! Our amazing Omicrons joined us in Spring 2013. Our Omicrons, if you could have any pet that you can't realistically get, what would it be and why? Bri "red, knight, and boo. amurrica, bro!" - A narwhal in its own private arctic tank, because they’re majestic sea unicorns. Brianna "i have a hobbit of eatin' strawberries in the shire" - A platypus, because they’re so strange and incredible, and a reminder of God’s creativity and sense of humor. Emma "just keep running" - A giraffe so I could ride it and feel tall. Esther "i fell off a pier once" - A koala, duh. Because I am a proud Australian. Also because they look cute and soft but are fierce and sassy. Leslie "braving the wilderness - no brakes" - A Tasmanian tiger. They’re pretty much extinct now, but I would definitely go back in time to have one as a pet because they’re mysterious creatures and have a fox/tiger look. Pricella "oh my dog, alpaca nin" - Alpacas (not llamas) because it alpaca lunch for me...(LOL) Isabel “elementary, my dear pearl, take the high road” Shen - An arsenal of jellyfish segregated by species, enclosed in individual elephant-sized snow globe aquariums. This is actually a dream of mine. |
